We believe the items you purchase from Handcrafted Modern are singular objets d'art. They reflect our maker's dedication and passion, and hope they will bring you many happy moments of joy and satisfaction.
Out of respect for our community of makers, we do not offer refunds for change of mind on limited edition one-off items.
We take great effort to be informative with our descriptions and images. Each product is individual and may have natural imperfections—a handprint, a dimple, a brush stroke—not quite level or straight. Made by hand, not mass-made by machine, these are qualities to embrace.
We will accept returns in the rare event of a faulty replenishable item. However, if it is deemed a natural characteristic feature of the item or part of its handmade nature, we may not be able to accept the return.
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item if you want to discuss a product, exchange or credit note. Each case will be subject to our discretion and stock availability. If we cannot replace a faulty item for you or find a suitable alternative, we will happily refund your purchase via the original form of payment.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We ask that items returned to us be in their original packaging, with tags and notes they may contain.
Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We do not reimburse shipping or customs duties. This policy ensures that our products remain affordable and accessible to all customers.
For your peace of mind, we recommend that you keep track of your parcel if it doesn't reach us. We are not responsible for any damage or loss of items in transit. However, we assure you that we will do our best to assist you in the return process.
We take pride in our environmentally friendly, protective paper packaging and sturdy boxes. When returning items to us, we encourage you to reuse our packaging. By doing so, you'll help us and contribute to a sustainable environment.
